This mount is laser cut out of 3/16” aluminum, bent, gusseted and tig welded specifically for the 1/2” U-bolt on your transom, also know as your stern eye. The stern eye is the U-bolt that you use to secure the back of your boat to your trailer during transportation, we designed this mount to utilize the U-bolt so you don’t have to drill holes into the hull of your boat. The mount is slotted so you can adjust the flagpole angle from starboard side to port side so that the flagpole flys straight up and down, it is common the u bolts are at an angle. The mount is also slotted so you can adjust the flagpole angle from bow to stern, this allows you to adjust the flagpole angle so the flagpole fly’s straight up and down instead of at the angle of your transom. This kit comes with a 60” flagpole that is 1/8” thick aluminum, both the flagpole and mount are powder coated. All stainless steel hardware is included with the kit, our 360 swivels are upgraded to handle high speeds and can be adjusted to any size flag you fly. Flags are not included. The U-bolt is also not included, re-use your existing u bolt from your boat. Flagpole is easily removed/installed is 5 seconds, and these kits are designed for high speed so you can leave the pole up while driving your boat. Mounts are symmetrical, so they work on both sides of your boat.
If this mount is too big for your u bolt, look on our site for the Boat Flagpole & Transom Mount for 3/8” U-Bolt. Your U-bolt will most likely be 3/8” or 1/2”.
