This mount is laser cut out of 3/16” aluminum and tig welded. Most of our mounts are designed to utilize a part on your boat so that you don’t have to drill holes into your hull, unfortunately their are some case you will have to drill holes. Boats equipped with a built in swim step, large swim platform, or u-bolts really low/tucked under the hull would have to use these mounts, these mounts are installed above your transom next to your ski tow hook. This mount is commonly used on pontoons with I/O set ups. This does require drilling four holes into the hull of your boat to through bolt the mount, they are normally mounted next to your ski tow hook or on a flat transom. This mount is spaced 1 1/2” off of the hull, and has no back angle. This kit comes with a 60” flagpole that is 1/8” thick aluminum, both the flagpole and mount are powder coated. All stainless steel hardware is included with the kit, our 360 swivels are upgraded to handle high speeds and can be adjusted to any size flag you fly. Flags are not included, they are sold separately because most people already have a flag. Flagpole is easily removed/installed in 5 seconds, and these kits are designed for high speed so you can leave the pole up while driving your boat. All of our Above Transom Mounts use the same base, base is 3 1/2” tall x 3” wide and hole layout is the same.
